This Privacy & Cookie Policy explains what information Boothcrate ("we", "us") collects when you use boothcrate.io and the dashboard (the "Service"), how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to visitors to our marketing pages, account holders, and visitors to the pages our users publish.
Account information: name, email address, and password (stored securely, never in plain text) when you sign up.
Profile content: whatever you choose to add to your page — artist name, bio, photos, event details, social links, and similar. This is visible to anyone who visits your published page.
Billing information: if you subscribe to a paid plan, payment details are collected and processed by our payment provider, [e.g. Stripe] — we don't store your full card details ourselves.
Usage & analytics data: basic technical information (like page views and outbound link clicks) both for your own page's analytics feature, and for us to understand and improve the Service.
We use a small number of cookies to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. We [do / do not — specify] use third-party advertising or tracking cookies. [If you add any analytics or advertising tool later — e.g. Google Analytics, Meta Pixel — list it here and update your cookie consent banner accordingly.]
We don't sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that help us operate Boothcrate — for example, our hosting and database provider ([e.g. Supabase]), our payment processor ([e.g. Stripe]), and our email delivery provider ([e.g. Resend]) — each bound to only use it to provide their service to us, and when required by law.
We keep your account and profile data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel, [specify your actual retention window — e.g. "we retain your data for 30 days in case you change your mind, then permanently delete it"].
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can update most of your information directly from your Account panel, or contact us at privacy@boothcrate.io for anything else. [If you have EU/UK/California users, add the specific GDPR/CCPA rights language and your legal basis for processing here.]
We use industry-standard measures — encrypted connections, secure password storage, and access controls — to protect your information. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, but we work to keep your data safe and will notify affected users if we become aware of a breach affecting their data, as required by law.
The Service isn't directed at children under [13/16 — specify per applicable law], and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them.
[If your hosting/infrastructure providers store data outside your users' home region — e.g. EU user data processed on US servers — describe your transfer safeguards here, such as Standard Contractual Clauses.]
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date above, and we'll make a reasonable effort to notify active account holders of significant changes.
Questions about this policy, or requests relating to your data, can be sent to privacy@boothcrate.io, or via our Contact page.
